Hey House Church!
Happy Thursday! We’ll be back at the Barrera’s this Monday for dinner, The Weekly, and prayer. This week we’ll be having a Chili and Baked Potato Bar! Please check out the Potluck Sign-Up Sheet below if you can bring something. Please come anyway, even if you can't!
As a reminder, we will not be meeting on November 24th, so Monday, the 17th will be a special Friendsgiving House Church with some special guests who will be sharing about missions. You won’t want to miss it!
Now for some ANNOUNCEMENTS:
GRACE CHURCH:
- Join us for a fun, gift-wrapping party for Spectrum Ministries on Thursday, November 20th, from 6-8:30 PM. Kids are welcome, but there will be no childcare, and not a lot of wiggle room, as we’ll be taking up all of the gym and MPR. Let us know if childcare would be a barrier to coming, and we’ll see if we can put something together! There will be a potluck dinner, though, so come hungry and feel free to bring something to share. Come anyway if you can’t! Also, we received clarification on registration and they would like us to register individually to get a better head count. Sorry for the confusion! - Newcomer’s Lunch, Sunday, Nov. 23rd. During the 12:30 PM Service. This lunch event is for anyone who is new to attending Grace! Here is your perfect opportunity to stay after church on a Sunday (after the last service) to meet the Grace Pastors and Staff and learn more about Grace's Mission and how to get connected. - NEXT Spectrum Mexico Day is Saturday, Nov 15th. Register at Mexico Outreach Sign-Up. The Diaks are tentatively planning on going on 12/26 if anyone wants to join!
- HARVEST HUSTLE is coming! SAVE THE DATE! Saturday, Nov. 22nd. Grace’s 2nd Annual 5K that supports our ministry partner, Olive Crest! Register here: Harvest Hustle Registration
HOUSE CHURCH:
- Praise Report! Chad has shared that he is doing well and does not feel like he needs a meal train at this time. Thank you all for your prayers and checking in to see how you can help! Please do not hesitate to reach out if there’s ever a way your House Church family can help out. We’re here for you!
- The kids will watch a kid-friendly movie or show outside during discussion, so make sure to check the weather before HC to make sure they are dressed appropriately.
- November 17th will be a special Friendsgiving and Missions Night for House Church. You won’t want to miss it!

- There is plenty of street parking!
- We will eat in the backyard, so come through the gate on the left when you get here.
- After dinner, we will go inside to watch and discuss The Weekly. Since we meet in a home, we do ask everyone to slip off their shoes at the door to help keep things clean and comfortable for everyone, especially the little ones running around. Thanks for being cool with that!
